La Orotava Gardens

The garden of La Orotava came about as a result of the concern for the acclimatisation of the new species brought from the Americas. In 1941, it became part of the National Institute of Agricultural Research, and today is a site for important scientific work. It contains over 3,000 species of mainly exotic flora, some of which are highly spectacular, such as Ficus macrophylla f. columnaris, with its long aerial roots.

Taman La Orotava muncul sebagai hasil dari kepedulian terhadap penyesuaian spesies baru yang dibawa dari Amerika. Volcanic Heart of Tenerife

Teide National Park

One of Europe's most visited national parks is in the heart of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. Here, the main star of the show is the Teide volcano, the very pinnacle of Spain, at an altitude of 3,718 metres. Keep your eyes peeled, because there's something amazing to see every step of the way.
